My complaint with Alpine would be every year my rates went up even though no claims. I had to ask them to see what they would be able to do to keep rates down. It was usually increasing deductible, etc. They never initiated a review of increases by themselves, they seemed happy to get more commission i guess. Finally after 4 or 5 yrs and policy premium just about doubling I shopped around and found better policy for less money.

Alpine Insurance of Steamboat Springs is run like a candy shop!!!!! The agents take there time writing policies, researching new policies and have below professional standards for cancellations of policies!!!!!!!!! I would take my chance getting insurance from the General than ever use Alpine Ins of Steamboat Springs again, Paxton has zero leadership in that office and any insurance company writing policies thru his office should stop doing so immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were directed to Alpine Insurance Agency when we moved to Steamboat Springs last year and wanted to stick with Chubb Insurance Company, which was our insurer on the East Coast. So, we didn't come to his agency through the traditional word of mouth route. Fortunately for us, Alpine has surpassed our expectations. We were put immediately at ease by competent insurance professionals. Susie Jones has been super helpful and promptly responds to all questions and concerns regarding our insurance needs.
